Spring Colors
This is lavender in the foreground and broom bush providing the nice backdrop in the background. I love the contrast here, and the evening light added just that little bit more. The little spider web in the top completes the overall look for me.

Can’t really go wrong with purple-y blue and yellow now can you? Nicely done, Sean!

It’s all purple and yellow out front. I have trouble shooting just yellow, however. It always loses its depth. Purple works well.

Those colours sure are pretty amazing Sean… That blue looks so vibrant against the yellow backdrop…

The flowers are starting to wilt. It won’t be long before they are gone until next year. Then we’ll all have to settle for the vibrancy of green on green.
Thanks, Brian.

So pretty! I could tell right away that you shot this in evening light, even before I read your post.

Looked at the meta-data eh?
I find myself looking at light far differently now than I did at this time last year.

I really like the contrast colors here too. The deep purple tones really go well with the color of the background.

If Broom Bush didn’t grow to such enormous sizes (6′ x 6′) I would plant it everywhere. Then everything could have a yellow background. (Plus it smells great). Glad you like it, Consuelo.
