Beach House

Back to the Monterey trip. This blue house overlooking the rocky beach with the gold grass in the foreground caught my eye.

Very lovely. What a gorgeous colour for a house! I’d certainly live there

I would certainly live there, too. One can dream, right?

Any house overlooking a beach in Monterey would do me nicely… and the light on the grass is very nice…

Hey Brian, since you’re so far away, I’d go in on a time share with you.

Beach house = my dream house.
Nice focus on the grass. Hey, is that a camera on a tripod in that upstairs window?

Many people have telescopes on tripods in their windows. But who knows, it could be a camera.

This picture looks very nice. I love how the dead grass (wheat?) is in focus and the color of the house helps it remain soft and out of focus in the background :]

The grass is just the wild grass that grows all over California. It dies off towards the end of spring and then in many areas of the state, it burns in the fall.
Thank you, Rosie, and thank you for stopping by!

Beautiful – house, grass , light and composition. And yes, I think I could cope with living there!

Moving to Monterey is just one of the places I can see myself living one day. It is almost commuting distance of the SF Bay area. Maybe I can make it work. Maybe.
