There were a few almond (amond for those of you without your “l’s” 🙂 ) trees on the photowalk. I am not sure if they were wild or not. These are not quite ripe yet, but when they are, I’m sure they will be tasty.

Very interesting! They almost look like peaches, with their fuzzy skins.

I had no idea this is how almonds grow! Yes, in aggreement with Michaela in their peach-like appearance.

It was a surprise to me as well to see almonds growing like this. Odd, since I went to school in Chico, CA which is full of almond groves. I guess I never stopped to look at the trees closely. 🙂
