Airport Sunset II

Airport Sunset

One more sunset from Saturday’s short excursion.  I made my attempt to capture this as I saw it, and it was gorgeous.  I wanted a plane in the shot, but I am not sure what I would have done with one since I bet it would have been blurry with the long shutter speeds.

    • I was thinking, as I was shooting that evening, “this is the type of material Mr. Funkyslug works with”. I was hoping I could make it turn out similar to your shots. I think I succeeded. Now, I just need some foreground subject matter to bring it home!

  7. Magnificent. I need to take some sunset shots, because I’m constantly oogling at the other ones I see.

    • I love these too. I need to figure out how to find more. The fog or mountains usually blocks the sun from going below the cloud line. These are rare near me unless I go over the hill to the beach.

  10. Great colour, the field in the foreground even seems to reflect back the fabulous sky! Wonderful capture!
